Sometimes I feel in awe by how quickly life moves forward. Everyday melts into tomorrow. It seems hard to believe that it is the middle of January now. It feels like only yesterday I was looking forward to the holidays and bringing in the New Year. I feel humbled by the passing of time.
Time allows us to reflect upon how we speak to and behave with others. It gives us the opportunity to repair moments that were marred by pain, even those painful moments that we tend to repeat in different situations.
Most of all, time gives us the opportunity to heal. Yet, we need to be ready to face ourselves, our flaws and our experiences. I believe all of us have the courage to heal, grow and change. We just need to find the right person to help us.
Everyday I meet people who garner my respect, not because of their accomplishments and the positions they hold, but because of who they are. They are regular people who are trying the best they can. They touch my heart. They learn that they pain they live with daily is greater than the pain they are afraid to face. They are ordinary people who have extraordinary courage.
If your New Year’s resolution includes working through something significant, find that person you can trust. It will be a person who will hold your heart without judgment and who can help you heal the pain you experience.
You have the power to heal yourself. Have courage. The time is now.

Thank you for empowering us to face our difficulties, there is always a little step further to release some pattern that does´t help any longer.
