There are two tools that I use to create my own good luck. One is having no attachment to the outcome; the other is having gratitude for the outcome – whatever it is.
I was recently travelling and my flight arrived almost an hour late. I had only a few minutes to leave the plane, get my luggage and catch my ride. It was certainly impossible.
I began silently repeating the phrase “no attachment”. Doing this released my stress and stopped me from worrying because my mind and heart were focused on this positive mantra. I felt confident that whatever happened, things were going to be okay.
As it turned out, my ride showed up 5 minutes after I arrived at the passenger pick up area! It was 40 minutes later than the schedule time! It seemed like a happy miracle.
Whoosh! Gratitude washed over me as I began to silently repeat “thank you”. I felt extremely blessed, lucky and joyful as I rode to my destination.
When we choose our thoughts, we create our experiences. Try it today! It works easily!
